About Us


Harmony Blinds has over 30 years of retail and installation experience in blinds, screens, doors and awnings and we know exactly what works. Our owners, Phil and Leanne Watson, are backed by a committed team with extensive experience in manufacturing and fitting quality window coverings and security doors to homes and businesses. Based at Narellan, Harmony Blinds services all of the Sydney basin, with a particular focus on the rapidly-expanding South Western Sydney region.

Being the company’s Director, not Dictator, Leanne has been building the business from the ground up for over 30 years now.

In The Office


Julie. R – Manager


Julie has been with us for over 19 years now and forms the backbone of the company. Often the first one there and the last one to leave, Julie works tirelessly behind the scenes over seeing that all operations and processing run smoothly. Taking on also the role of our customer service manager, Julie strives to ensure that our customers are always looked after. You will find that Julie’s professionalism is paramount for what sets this company apart from its competition. 

Michelle – Reception


Michelle has been with the company for over eight years now. Her roles within the company have been diverse, with the majority of that time being spent on the factory floor cutting and assembling all fabrics and blinds. With a background in reception work and a passion for manicured nails, the beginning of 2017 has now seen Michelle hang up her iconic purple work boots and apply those years of experience and knowledge from the factory floor into that of the company’s main receptionist. Knowing our products inside out, you will find Michelle very helpful and professional.

Peta – Social Media


Peta has been with the company on a part time basis while she studies her degree at university. When she is not checking her dog’s Instagram account or complaining about how poor she is (it’s a uni-student thing), she is helping Michelle with answering the phones. More recently, her role has shifted to that of developing the company’s social media platform, which we expect will bring growth and expansion to the business.

Jill – Correspondence


Having been a high school teacher for many years, Jill decided she would like to apply her stress-handling skills to a different environment. Welcome to Harmony Blinds! Employed on a part-time basis, Jill's role within the company is the coordinating of government funded projects.

On The Factory Floor


Julie G.


Julie has been with the company for over eight years now and is a large part of what sets us apart from our competition. Being one of the few companies in the blind industry that employs trained seamstress’s, her role within the company is the sewing of all fabrics – that’s awnings, hollands, verticals, and pretty much anything else we throw at her (including, but not limited to, pants with holes in their pockets). It is not uncommon for many of our customers to comment on her beautiful workmanship, and her ability in handcrafting our blinds for you is second to none.

Blake


Blake has been with the company for over five years now and has played an integral part in the company’s growth. His role within the company is assembling awnings, cutting all types of aluminium, coordinating orders and deliveries within the factory, and helping with large installations. Having dealt face to face with many of our customers he understands the importance of getting the job done and getting it right.

Vera


Vera is one of our newest additions to the team and has established herself very quickly as hardworking and very reliable. Her role within the company is cutting holland blind and awning fabrics, as well as assembling Holland blinds and vertical tracks. Her attention to detail ensures all work dispatched is of the highest quality and workmanship.

Dylan


Dylan is also one of our newest additions to the team and has played an important role in enabling growth within the company. His role is to manufacture your screen doors, security grilles and flyscreens. His skillset has also made him excellent for all types of installation work, and you will find that his thoughtful nature is carried through in his workmanship.

Adam


Adam has been with the company for almost 12 months now. His main role has been manufacturing screen doors and flyscreens. His competence and growing knowledge of the various products we sell has recently seen him move into installation work. The skills he has gained from working on the factory floor have enabled him to be a thorough installer who understands the necessity for attention to detail.
